With its patented UADA cavitation technology, RAPTECH enables the production of low-emission (bio) fuel emulsions as an alternative to conventional (bunker) fuels.   • RAPTECH UADA technology uses controlled hydrodynamic cavitation to efficiently produce stable fuel emulsions by finely dispersing difficult-to-mix components such as heavy fuel oil, biodiesel and optionally water

Production of modern bunker fuels with UADA cavitation technology
The production of high-performance bunker fuels at RAPTECH is carried out using a multi-stage process based on the specially developed UADA cavitation technology. This enables the precise emulsification of various bunker fuel components according to customer-specific requirements and areas of application. The result is highly stable bunker fuels that are low-emission, efficient and sustainable.

  • Component blending:
    In the first step, the bunker fuels are composed of different components in a precisely defined ratio. The mixing ratio of the bunker fuels is flexible and can be adapted to any application.

  • Emulsification:
    The mixture of bunker fuels then undergoes the emulsification process using UADA cavitation technology. The two phases of the bunker fuels are combined in a highly intensive process.

  • Homogenization:
    In the RAPTECH ultrasonic acoustic flow reactor (UADA), the bunker fuels are homogenized to ensure a fine and even distribution of the components. This produces high-quality bunker fuels with optimized combustion characteristics.

  • Quality assurance:
    Finally, every bunker fuel produced is tested for its physical and chemical stability. The bunker fuels meet all application-specific standards and requirements of ISO 8217:2024.

RAPTECH does not use any environmentally harmful additives such as surfactants, emulsifiers or polymers in the production of its sustainable bunker fuels. Production is exclusively physical - clean, efficient and environmentally friendly.

The RAPTECH CaviFlow® inline modules have been specially developed for the energy-efficient processing of bunker fuels. These compact plug & play systems enable the direct integration of state-of-the-art cavitation technology into existing fuel systems - ideal for the production and optimization of bunker fuels and bio-based fuel emulsions.

Thanks to standardized threaded or flanged connections, the CaviFlow® modules can be seamlessly integrated into your bunker fuel systems without any structural adjustments.
