CaviFlow® cavitation modules

Immediate use
Are you looking for an uncomplicated plug & play solution to benefit from cavitation technology for dispersing and homogenizing? The RAPTECH CaviFlow® inline modules with their threaded or flanged connections can be quickly integrated into existing process systems and are immediately ready for use. Without high investment costs and space-saving compared to conventional agitators with high maintenance costs. Easy-to-clean and, of course, individually scalable.

  • CaviFlow® 6 | (6 m³/h)
  • CaviFlow® 25 | (25 m³/h)
  • CaviFlow® 50 | (50 m³/h)
  • CaviFlow® 100 | (100 m³/h)

Each CaviFlow® module communicates continuously with the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system to report and retrieve operating commands. For maximum control and safety in your operation.

How CaviFlow® works

CaviFlow® is a fluidically and acoustically designed inline module that induces cavitation by purely hydrodynamic means. The process fluid is fed under high pressure through specially designed tiny nozzle openings within an acoustic plate. The resulting flow gradients generate high-intensity localized vortex zones and pressure differences. The liquid is additionally focused, separated and recombined by specifically arranged metallic structural elements within the flow channel - so-called pins - which further intensify the cavitation initiation.

In contrast to conventional hydrodynamic or ultrasonic-based cavitation technologies, the ultrasonic acoustic flow assembly (UADA) does not require an external ultrasonic source. Cavitation in CaviFlow® is generated solely by the internal flow and geometry design of the module itself. The process remains completely encapsulated in the cavitation unit and has no mechanical or damaging influence on downstream system components.
Technical data
The CaviFlow® inline modules are scalable for a wide range of flow rates and production volumes as well as liquids of different viscosities. Whether chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food technology or refinery - CaviFlow® is configured for your production. The modules are implemented in existing process systems using a simple plug & play solution with DN 50 / DN 80 flange or 2" / 3" threaded connections.

Several UADA modules can be connected in series as a serial cascade to increase mixing quality and throughput. Even viscous media can be homogenized efficiently - flexible, scalable and easy to maintain.
