  • RAPTECH UADA technology uses targeted hydrodynamic cavitation to create stable emulsions from difficult-to-mix components such as heavy fuel oil, biodiesel and optionally water. This finely dispersed marine fuel mixture is characterized by high stability and efficiency and provides an excellent basis for emission-reduced combustion.

Thanks to this powerful dispersion and homogenization process, which enables an adaptable mixing ratio, marine fuels - including renewable energy sources - can be used optimally to reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions. Production of modern marine fuels with UADA cavitation technology
The production of high-performance marine fuels at RAPTECH is based on a multi-stage process using the specially developed UADA cavitation technology. This technology enables precise emulsification and homogenization of a wide range of components - precisely tailored to customer-specific requirements and areas of application. The result is highly stable marine fuels that can be used efficiently, sustainably and with low emissions.

  • Component blending:
    In the first step, the marine fuels are composed of different base materials in a precisely defined ratio. The formulation is flexible and is individually adapted to the respective area of application.

  • Emulsification:
    The prepared mixture passes through the emulsification process using UADA cavitation technology. The different phases of the marine fuels are intensively and stably combined with each other.

  • Homogenization:
    In the RAPTECH ultrasonic acoustic flow reactor (UADA), the marine fuel emulsion is finely homogenized. This results in an even distribution of the components, which ensures particularly clean and efficient combustion behavior.

  • Quality assurance:
    Finally, every marine fuel is tested for its physical and chemical stability. All emulsions meet the applicable requirements of ISO 8217:2024 and are approved for permanent use in a maritime or industrial environment.

RAPTECH completely dispenses with chemical additives such as surfactants, emulsifiers or polymers during production. The emulsions are based on purely physical processes - for a clean, efficient and environmentally friendly solution in the field of marine fuels.

Efficient emulsification of marine fuels with CaviFlow® inline technology

The RAPTECH CaviFlow® inline modules have been specially developed for the energy-efficient processing of marine fuels. These compact plug & play systems enable the direct integration of state-of-the-art cavitation technology into existing fuel systems - ideal for the production and optimization of emulsions based on fossil or biogenic marine fuels.

Thanks to standardized threaded or flanged connections, the CaviFlow® modules can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems without any structural modifications. They are immediately ready for operation, require little maintenance thanks to the sophisticated easy-to-clean design and impress with their high cost-effectiveness and flexible scalability. The following variants are available for processing marine fuels, tailored to the respective volume flow:
